Who’s Who Recognizes Evy Jane Ougendal

Evy Jane Ougendal is an experienced leader with an impressive resume. She served, until April 2014, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Dunas Douradas Beach Club in Portugal. Beginning her post-collegiate career as a real estate agent, Evy rose through the ranks, advancing to director and partner in her real estate agency. She was head-hunted to one of Norway’s leading real estate companies as marketing director, but was relocated to oversee and manage the company’s development of a 140 unit luxury holiday resort in the Algarve, Portugal – the Dunas Douradas Beach Club, where she was appointed CEO in 2007.

She has held several board positions over the years in real estate-related companies as well as in sports and culture. Evy was also the press spokes woman for the realtors Union with several performances on the national news broad casting in the early nineties.

Evy belongs to many professional organizations. She is a member of the both British Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and the Norwegian Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. She was honored as a guest speaker at a conference for “Women in Business” in Lisbon, and is an international-level professional speaker. In 2010, Evy was honored with the European Residential Property Awards in association with Bloomberg/Kohler, Best Development Europe. She also received the World Travel Awards, Europe’s Best Apartment and Villa Residences in 2012.

Evy holds a degree in Economics and Journalism earned at Oslo University College (HiO) and is completing her Master of Business Administration degree at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. She is fluent in English, Norwegian, Portuguese, and German.
