Dilek Tunali, M.D. is an accomplished professional and is the Medical Director of Dem Pharmaceuticals, where she is responsible for management of the department and team, giving support to relevant departments (marketing, RA, business development, etc.), interacting with KOL’s at an executive level, conducting clinical trials, and interacting with MOH. Dr. Tunali has over 15 years of experience in the pharma and biotech industry, including positions at BIOFARMA Pharmaceutical, Nycomed, BioMarin, Schering-Plough, Organon Pharmaceuticals, and Medika Ltd.

Dr. Tunali specializes in Psychiatry, Medical Department Management, Coaching, CNS, KOL Management, University Professional in Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM), Biotechnology, Pediatric Metabolism, MPS VI, Orphan Drug, Generics, Pharmacovigilance, Corporate Compliance, ICH GCP Knowledge, Occupational Health, Leadership, People Management, Crisis Management, and Change Management.

Dr. Tunali earned her Medical Doctorate and did her Residential Training at Istanbul University Medical School.  She is a member of Soroptimist; the Turkish Chamber of Medicine; and the Uskudar American High School Association. She is an experienced public speaker, and co-authored “Depression and Antidepressants: A Guide,” through the Madison Institute of Medicine. She is fluent in Turkish, French, and English.
