Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Graziela Gilioli
Graziela Gilioli is a Photographer, Writer, Sociologist, TEDxTalks Lecturer, Artist, and Partner Director at GMA Future Trends Marketing. Graziela is searching for a greater understanding of human relationships and of the choices we make in order to live well. After many years of study in different fields and many trips around the world, she has discovered that moments of harmony and joy can arise from the smallest of things – the click of a shutter.
Graziela has traveled and captured many moments all over the world including Asia, Europe, Oceania and the Americas. One of her contracts was to capture farm life in Brazil titled Dorper Project. Her work “Time Forgotten” was exhibited in the 10th International Art Biennial in Rome, 2014, for which she was awarded third place in the honorary awards.
As a photographer, she seeks to understand the world in which we live. She travels around the planet, searching for other ways of living in and interacting with it. “My photography has a deep humanist approach. I am one to contemplate both the greatnesses and the smallnesses of our world. In this way, I am able to go above and beyond what is common or obvious.”
Graziela is the author of “Little Doctor, a true story about the period of suffering and anguish she experienced with her youngest son, and about how, both mother and sons, found a new, true sense to life. Her book “Little Doctor” has been published in Brazil and in Portugal. Also a lecturer, Graziela has been a contributor of TedxTalks with the lecture “A Look upon Life and Death “. She also spoke in the Israeli Albert Einstein Hospital addressing a select audience of PhD doctors on “The Relationship between Professionalism and the Human Dimension”. In the Santa Casa School of Medicine in São Paulo, her theme was “The Relationship Between Doctors and Patients”, and in Portimão, Portugal, she took part in the “Education and People of the Future” conference with her lecture, “Education: A Dialetic Between the Humanist and Technological Perspectives”, to an audience of over one thousand people.
An eager student of life and academia, Graziela is as equally eager to learn as she is to share her knowledge and works of art via her portfolio of photography and literature. And further, Graziela is launching her business Photo Prêt-a-Porter – her work of fine art photography will be displayed on natural fiber fabric scarves to inspire women around the world.
Graziela holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Luxury Management for the Global Market (FAAP), Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and the Luxury Market from ESSEC, Cergy-Pontoise, Master of Marketing Administration degree from the Brazilian Business University (FGV), Bachelor of Social Science degree in Sociology from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC) and a Master of Arts degree in Photography from the Panamerican School of Arts in São Paulo (EPA).
“My contemplative gaze rouses me into looking beyond all daily interactions with the world. It is a learning process that brings new light to facts, feelings and thoughts. Many things in life can be controversial and complex, but in everything lies the possibility of a new perspective; refusing to reiterate ideas with ready-made conclusions can be a good start for us in gaining a more generous standpoint on all things.”
