Sui Hunn Cheong is the General Manager of Abacus Travel Systems Pte Ltd; the leading Global Distribution Systems (GDS) for airlines, hotels, travel management solutions and services in Singapore.

With outstanding drive to achieve success in the areas of sales performance, human resource development, and change management, Sui Hunn applied her skills and passion to transform Abacus Travel and its staff by adopting new technologies, managing human resources, and building leadership within the organization. During the last two years, Sui Hunn has extended Abacus expertise to implement change management solutions and automated tools for travel agencies in Singapore. Under the stewardship of Sui Hunn Cheong, Abacus successfully executed leading edge initiatives which enhanced Abacus’ customer experience enabling them to retain its position as the leading GDS in Singapore.

Sui Hunn Cheong graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA). She has more than 5 years of working experience in audit and consultancy work with the international audit firm Touche Ross & Company. At Abacus Travel; she was a pioneer staff responsible for setting up the Finance & HR department and headed this department for many years before going on to lead the company as general manager.

Currently residing in Singapore, Sui Hunn Cheong’s personal life goal is learning to develop one’s greatest potential for a happy, healthy and beneficial life with few regrets, leaving a legacy to the next generation through education, guidance and beneficial projects demonstrated by her extensive volunteer work. Her interests include philosophy, human development, and Buddhism.
