Debra Fawcett is the founder and principal coach at Ascensu Coaching. She is a long term strategic leader invested in facilitating systemic development and positive growth which makes her uniquely qualified to work with clients in realizing their life’s design. Her 20 years in counseling, leadership, and personal and professional development creates a powerful synergy that combined with commitment, results in transformative outcomes through achieving important goals. Ascensu Coaching offer coaching services in the areas of leadership and professional development, career and life balance, emotional wellness and coaching for youth.

With a bachelor of Social Work (honors) from Lakehead University, a graduate diploma in Business Management from Athabasca University and a Professional Life Coach Certificate from Erickson College International, Debra has a breadth of experience and on the ground know-how. Possessing extensive experience as a strategic leader in the Child Welfare and Health sectors her previous roles include Regional Manager for the Northern Health Authority, Practice Development and Support Consultantat Ministry for Children and Families and Director/Senior Advocacy Advisor for Advocacy for Aboriginal and Community Relations (Office of the Representative for Children and Youth). She is affiliated with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the BC College Social Workers (BCCSW).

Debra lives in Prince George, Canada where she enjoys hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing and camping in her spare time.
