Greg Goldshteyn is an accomplished Quality Assurance professional with over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, he is Head of Quality Assurance for ADP and Prime Focus Technologies and General Manager for G&G Consulting (IT).
Greg has joined ADP to help with revamping the QA department, improve processes and efficiency. With more than $12 billion in revenues and 65 years of experience, ADP (Nasdaq: ADP) serves approximately 637,000 clients in more than 125 countries. ADP has been an industry leader in outsourced payroll processing for more than six decades and has been named a Leader in Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant for Payroll Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services” for the third consecutive year. While ADP’s QA department had been established a long time ago, over the years, it started to show some age and was in need in modernization and an overhaul. The tools and systems used in QA Department today are getting obsolete, inefficient and do not provide flexibility and collaboration across global teams that in today’s environment is essential to the project’s success. With his extensive experience in the industry and deep knowledge of QA Discipline, SCRUM methodologies, test planning and managing complex software projects through all stages of the development lifecycle; he’s bringing a fresh perspective and innovation to the organization. Greg was able to identify areas in dire need for a change and teamed up with VP’s and upper management to work on documentation, process flows, evaluation of new tools, data migration, etc.
Prime Focus Technologies (PFT) is the technology subsidiary of Prime Focus, the world’s largest media services powerhouse. PFT brings together a unique blend of Media and IT skills backed by a deep understanding of the global media and entertainment industry. Here, Greg is in charge of managing global QA team in a Cloud/ SaaS based Internet & Media Emmy Award winning company.
Greg manages multiple internal (California) and external (India, Ukraine, Argentina) teams. His responsibilities include strategic planning, communications, and management for all of his teams. Greg’s responsibilities also include quality assurance, building infrastructures, and performance projects. His open mind and proactive efforts to keep up with trends via research keep him ahead of the game and ready for new technology developments. Greg has hand-on experience building automation frameworks for large scale enterprise applications. He has developed test approaches/strategies for enterprise projects and has substantial and diverse experience test planning and managing complex software projects through all stages of the development life-cycle. He built QA teams from the ground up, developed processes, procedures, and operational guides for the entire QA organization. Greg has the ability to influence senior leadership in adopting new ideas, products, and/or approaches that improve product delivery time frame, quality and required effort. He initiated, evaluated, and successfully completed a number of high-profile QA projects. Greg holds experience in planning for a full range of test execution activities, including unit, functional, performance/load/capacity, regression, integration, user acceptance, and cross application testing. He has guided offshore and in-house QA teams in testing of API, SaaS, Mobile (Android, iOS), Mortgage, Financial, Banking, B2B/C2B, CRM, Security, eCommerce, Communication, Social Media, EDA, Streaming Media and Embedded Software applications.
