Culinary mastermind Christophe-Bruno Marziale is known in his industry as an innovative and adventurous leader with proven excellence in the up-market Food and Beverage industry. Currently the founding Director of Foodability and Vice President of the International Food & Beverage Forum, Christophe is reputed for formulating marketing strategy and positioning Food & Beverage products in leading hotel brands across five continents. His mission is based on reinforcing entrepreneurial and managerial skills by creating, developing and implementing breakthrough solutions in successfully delivering on each capacity building project.
Foodability provides definition, creation and validation of new outlets or a revamp of existing outlets. In conjunction with this, Christophe sources suppliers, oversees pre-opening duties, the opening and launch of projects, post-opening duties and conducts training/personal skills development with employees.
With 30 years of expertise in leading international hotel chains: Hyatt, Le Meridien, Westin, Oberoi, Regent, Sofitel, Southern Sun and Gulf Hotels Group, Christophe has a clear mission and set of values. Indicative of the talent within, he is able to identify an outlet’s personality (including its flaws), concept and inherent goals to expertly and creatively implement groundbreaking, proven strategies which result in award winning outcomes. He has demonstrated robust values of responsiveness, quality, resourcefulness and professional integrity throughout his career, beginning as a Banquet then Restaurant Manager for Hyatt, Christophe has since held a multitude of senior positions including but not limited to: Director of Operations (Le Meridian, Abu Dhabi); Corporate Director of Food and Beverage (Sofitel Hotels and Resorts) and Group Director Food and Beverage (Southern Sun Hotels and Resorts).
After having establishing Foodability, Christophe was the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage with Emaar Hospitality Group. In this role he was responsible for The Address Hotels and Resorts, Vida, The Palace, Manzil and the Leisure clubs: Dubai Marina and Yacht Club, Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. Specifically, he assesses new properties and new concept developments with external consultants; audits missions for actual concepts and master plans for refurbishment and develops brand standards and standard operating procedures. As a testimony to his hard work, Asado was awarded Best Latin American Restaurant by Time Out Magazine for 2014.
Christophe is responsible for numerous awards such as: Best Italian Restaurant in Bahrain, 2013, Fact Magazine; Best Japanese Restaurant (Sato) and Best Chinese Restaurant (China Garden), 2013, Time Out Magazine; Upscale Restaurant and Bar of the Year, Lodging Hospitality Magazine and Food Arts magazine, 2001; Award of Excellence, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Award of Excellence, Fetzer Valley Oaks Food & Wine Center.
Like any professional at the top of his game, Christophe has many affiliations including: Vice President & Founding Member of The International Food & Beverage Hall of Fame Society; Vice President International World Gourmet Club; Maître de Table Restaurateur Confrérie de la Chaine des Rôtisseurs and Membre des Toques Blanches.
Being born of a French mother and Italian father and raised in Strasbourg, Christophe maintains an international presence.He speaks French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and English and enjoys tennis and rowing in his spare time where he still lives in Strasbourg, France.
