Entrepreneur, Sex Toy Pioneer, and CFO, Tia Loya is not your average Executive. Founder of TSX Toys; a US based sex toy factory, Tia has been “dragging the sex toy industry kicking and screaming into the 21st century” since establishing the company in 2000. Right away Tia endeavored to move TSX Toys in a new direction, creating a line of sex toys that have never been seen before. Among a compendium of memorable firsts, TSX designed and manufactured the first “backstrap” extensions with a unique squared off back end. Using that signature backend, they’ve created the most extensive collection of penis extensions and girth expanders in the world. They sold the first horse dildo in the US and the first whale penis in the world. Before any of the other specialty sex toys companies in the US existed; TSXToys sold alien dildos such as the amazing “Cyberflex Alien Double Dong”, “Anime Sex” and Gay masturbators, “Bunboy” and “Mangina”.
Tia began working in the adult industry in 1983. She seized an opportunity to take a female approach to an industry that, in the early 1980’s consisted mainly of “seedy” male-oriented video stores. Using the lazer-like focus inherent within, she obtained an interior design qualification and got to work designing stores for women, in clean, well lit, beautiful locations. A testimony to her ingenuity; the stores were a big success. By this stage the business had grown to 17 stores. Answering the silent call of women throughout America, Tia created TXS’s advertising mascot, “Jungle Jane.” Jungle Jane became known by all: men brought flowers to the stores for her and the actress who played her was often approached in public by adoring fans.
In the early 1990′s, Tia made a game changing move and partnered with Gene Wallace, a veteran sex toy manufacturer (now deceased) who taught Tia how to make rubber sex toys. After Tia’s divorce in 1997 she began extensive preparation to bring a new line of sex toys to the table and breaking the mold, in 2000, Tia founded TSX Toys (www.tsxtoys.com). She hired top sculptors from outside the adult industry, who had been showing work created in various media in galleries across the country and in Canada to create what can only be described as art pieces-consequently; TSX Toys boasts more copyrighted works than any specialty sex toy company in the world.TSX Toys is now a top US sex toy factory and a business renowned for its ground breaking innovation: TSX Toys was the first US manufacturer to begin pouring non-phthalate rubber exclusively. They also pour proprietary blended “fauxskin” which is also non-phthalate. Tia, her company and products have been referenced in multiple reality shows in worldwide, and numerous industry publications such as Store Erotica, Xbiz Magazine and AVN.
Tia credits her success to removing the words “can’t” and “quit” from her vocabulary. An unstoppable force, she sees herself being even more creative and innovative; manufacturing more original products, and expanding her business within the next 5 years.
