Glyn Slade is the director of Slade Consulting Group Limited and an Authorised Financial Adviser (FSP 4381) trading as Mortgage Express. Mortgage Express is a mortgage and insurance advisory company that has been in operation since 1998. Mortgage Express Limited is also a registered financial service provider (FSP1542) and an associate of Financial Services Complaints Limited, an approved dispute resolution scheme provider. With access to 19 lenders, 6 insurers and 150 loan and insurance products, they use the latest technologies and software to give customers comprehensive comparisons of the very best options in the market place. With over 42 years of banking and finance experience in senior management positions and as a company director, Glyn’s considerable expertise spans the lending and mortgage market.

With a diploma in banking from the Central Institute of Technology, Glyn began his storied career in banking. He served as Lending Manager for Cairns Lockie Limited, Mortgage Bankers, for over 13 years, and has held numerous employee positions as well as maintained his practice as a self-employed contractor since March 1999. In addition to being AFA certified, he is also a member of New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association/Professional Advisers Association. Glyn has handled a variety of lending types for business and personal borrowers, such as mortgages, hire purchase, leasing, block discounting, floor plans for dealers’ capital requirements and debt factoring.

In addition to his financial pursuits, Glyn has researched and developed an agri-business, producing purebred Hereford cattle and Passionfruit. He is based out of Waiuku, New Zealand, where he lives with his wife of nearly 40 years and currently enjoys giving back to his community. He is especially proud of his daughter, who has also recently started with the company.
