Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Antonio Martinez
Antonio Martinez is a Tax Expert on national, international taxation and tax litigation. Currently engaged in the Centimo Sanitario Case, Antonio is responsible for defense of the interest of more than 1000 transportation companies against the Spanish authorities before the European Court, for a total tax refund amount exceeding 100,000,000 Euros. Apart from that he is the founder at Portalabogados. es This is an intelligent search engine and a market place that is about to be launched in the market. Antonio is a business angel and at this moment he invested in LUDEI INC and VISULNET INC.
After completing his Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, Antonio went on to receive a Masters in Taxation from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues in 1999. He then worked as an Assistant at Ernst & Young before returning to augment his education ten years later, receiving a second Masters in Taxation from the Instituto de Empresa in 2009.
Assuming the role of Head of Tax for Amper, S.A. upon completing his second masters, Antonio was responsible for domestic and international taxation, tax consolidation, the implementation and development of the transfer pricing policy and for the restructuring of the group and the design group’s international taxation. He then moved on to chemical distribution giant Chemo International, where he directed all domestic and international taxation, tax consolidation, and the restructuring of the group and the design group’s international taxation.
Antonio has spoken at many conferences on the taxation of fuel. He was published in the Spanish newspaper “Expansion,” in an article on taxation of fuel in 2000. He aspires to continue to share his cross-cultural knowledge on an international level. Community-minded, Antonio also conducts volunteer work with children who have brain diseases, and is a member of the Bar in Spain, where he resides in Madrid.
