Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Claudine Riemer

Entrepreneur, Director and Massage Therapist, Claudine Riemer excels in all she applies herself to. As the Spa Director of Villa del Palmar Loreto, Claudine used her 20 years of experience in the industry to create Sabila Spa from the ground up. She is responsible for a wellness center that incorporates 17 massage cabins, 1 salon and 1 juice therapy bar. Currently, she is developing a wellness retreat to be offered in 2015, their second to include daily yoga, meditation, fitness classes throughout the day, full body massage, body exfoliation and facials.

Claudine started her career as a massage therapist in the late 90′s, having the opportunity to work with sports team Caledon Knights in Canada. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she started Spa on Wheels during this time. In 2003 she vacationed in Cancun, Mexico where she fell in love with the country and never left, traveling throughout Mexico exploring new places. Eleven years later, she began working as a massage therapist in a 5-star resort and volunteered in a holistic center serving the physical rehabilitation needs of underprivileged citizens. Claudine managed to learn the language and diligently worked her way from Therapist to a Corporate Spa Director. Her professional excellence and passion for the wellness industry is evidenced in her development and designs for the spa’s decor and spa menu, creating an exceptionally high-quality luxury experience for hotel guests. She speaks English, Spanish and French and truly enjoys giving guests their best personalized experiences.

Claudine recently joined an association called the “amigos de los animals” which means “friends of the animals,” in order to help dogs be adopted by a first world country. This association started out in Puerto Rico by one of the American associates who lives in the same town, Loreto, Mexico. She is now working together to create a humane society in Mexico. Claudine has adopted a total of 7 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 2 hens and 1 rooster, all in need of rescuing. Claudine’s future goal is have her own business and keep aiding the animals in Mexico for better lives.

Happy to share in the joy of others, Claudine is also a licensed reverend, performing wedding ceremonies and baptisms in her “off” time at the hotel and other locations around where she lives in Loreto, BCS.
