Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Alexandros Zaracoudis
Alexandros Zaracoudis is the General Manager of Arista Shipping. Filled with guts and determination, Alexandros started his career at entry level and progressed rapidly to the senior level he is at now. Founded in 2007, Arista is a young dynamic company which is a global provider of shipping transportation services and specializes in managing the worldwide transportation of dry bulk cargoes including commodities such as iron ore, coal, grain, salt, alumina and other minor bulk cargoes. Arista Shipping, which is in growth mode, currently owns and operates four dry bulk vessels. Alexandros oversees all of the company’s operations.
Armed with an MSc in Finance from Bentley College and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Richmond University, The American International University of London, he perfectly combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience. Prior to joining Arista, Alexandros was a partner and director of Eurofin Group, a ship financing advisory company with offices in London, Athens, Istanbul and Singapore. Alexandros was in charge of expanding Eurofin’s clientele and services in Greece and abroad. Before this he was a consultant to KfW-IPEX Bank for Greek ship financing, he was a Barclays Marine Finance representative in Greece for yacht financing and was a director in a three-vessel chemical tanker shipping company. Being only 45 years old, Alexandros has at least another 20 productive years and looks forward to learning new things, pursuing new challenges and becoming CEO of a $1bn plus listed company.
