Salvador Enrique Arellano Buendia is a consummate professional who has well over 18 years of experience within the foreign trade and customs industry. Salvador is both the President of SI Consulting and the CEO of COELAC (a non-profit organization that facilitates an alliance between the public and sectors in the scheme of Authorized Economic Operators.)

A powerhouse executive, Salvador holds a Bachelor of Law from the Autonomous Institute of Technology, Mexico. Previous to his current positions, Salvador worked in the Treasury Services Department in JP Morgan and Chase, where he oversaw operations for the entire Central America/Latin American region. Prior to that he had worked for 3 years for Mexican General Customs and he conducted different economic studies to aid in decreasing smuggling. Salvador is a talented orator who has spoken in numerous conferences on Trade Facilitation and Authorize Economic Operations. He has been published in numerous trade publications, some titles with include Benefits of Automation in Trade Logistics (2014) and Authorized Automatic Operators (2014). Committed to his profession, Salvador founded the first AEO conference in Latin America and is the founder and creator of the Logistics Institute of Nuevo Leon. He is affiliated with both the Trade Commerce Department of the United States and the Asociacion Latinoamerica de Seguridad. In the next five years, he is looking to create the International Association for Trade and is also looking to work in the Government on trade issues.

Residing in Mexico City, Salvador enjoys playing paddle tennis in his spare time.
