Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Stein Bjørn Øverland

 
Stein Bjørn Øverland brings over 32 years of professional experience to his role as General Manager at K-K Formidling, a consulting company based in Norway. Stein handles all functions of the company, including accounting and finance. He serves as Operative Manager and Business Consultant within the financial area. Having played many C-level roles with companies including Redpill Linpro, Samlerhuset Group BV, Sysdeco AS/Avenir ASA and Stav Hotel AS, his experience as a CEO has been in countries including Germany, Finland, and Norway. Currently, Stein busies himself with contract negotiations on a national and international level. He possesses excellent competence within finance and controlling, including cost benefit analysis, cash flow and investment analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.
 
With a Master of Business Administration, Business Management from Norges Handelshøyskole in 1979 and a BI Norwegian Business School, Stein set out on his storied career with a broad base of skills. Having worked as Head of Division for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, as well as holding CEO positions for three different companies, Stein’s international scope of experience is proven. He has spoken at several engagements for business administration students. One of his most unique assignments was as the Volunteer Assistant Manager IT, Norwegian Cup-Soccer, January 1989 – September 1992, where he took great pleasure in working with volunteers to fulfill a tournament with 1200 different teams from all over the world.
 
At this stage in his career, Stein is looking to network with like-minded professionals and establish a personal brand. He credits his success to never giving up: always taking problems as challenges- and not the other way around. Stein also credits his success to his ability to motivate employees. Stein lives in the greater Oslo area in Norway, where he can be found playing squash, reading, and enjoying photography in his spare time. He is fluent in Norwegian, German, Swedish and English, and speaks a working level of French.
