Javier Castano is the Human Resources Head of Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma, a Heineken subsidiary also known as Heineken Mexico. The company operates brewing plants in Monterrey, Tecate, Navojoa, Guadalajara, Toluca and Orizaba, producing the Dos Equis, Sol, Bohemia, Carta Blanca, Noche Buena and Tecate brands among others. A dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Javier has multi-cultural and multi-locational experience throughout the Americas (Central & South America, the United States and Canada).
 
He holds a Master of Organizational Development from Universidad de Monterrey and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Javier’s international background in retail and manufacturing has included start-up companies, mergers and acquisitions and cultural changes. Active in his community and loyal to his alma mater, he is a member of ERIAC an Executive Labor Relations Council.
 
Javier is an overall excellent leader who generously donates his time, care and attention to the people around him. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he also has an understanding of Portuguese. Javier hopes to continue working for diverse organizations and prides himself on his commitment to jointly accomplish the needs of his business while he continues to grow personally and professionally.
 
Javier resides in Monterrey, Mexico, and can be found fishing and hunting in his spare time.
