Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Bengt Svelander

Bengt Svelander is the Managing Director of Nykredit Bank A/S, Sweden Branch. Dating back to 1851, Nykredit is one of Denmark’s leading financial services companies with activities ranging from mortgage, retail and investment banking to insurance, leasing and fixed income trading and asset management. Bengt brings with him a broad range of expertise, including general management, retail banking, entrepreneurship, fund management and fixed income management.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Economics from Uppsala University. Prior to his tenure at Nykredit, Bengt served as CEO of Danske Bank A/S Sweden Branch and the CEO of Consensus Fondkommission AB. He was the Chairman of Danica Fondförsäkring, and is a current board member of The Swedish Securities Dealers Association (SSDA).
 
When he isn’t busy building up the Nykredit presence in the Swedish Market Bengt likes to unwind by playing hockey, golfing, and fishing. He resides in Nacka, Sweden, and is bilingual in Swedish and English.
