Claudio Cavalcante Silva is the IT Manager for MDM Solutions Ldta., a tech startup based in Brazil. An experienced professional with over 25 years experience, Claudio is an expert in technology, systems design, processes, infrastructure and telecommunications.
 
Currently pursuing his MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas- FGV (Expected 2015), Claudio hold a bachelors degree from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz- UESC (1995). Before joining MDM, Claudio served as the Head of IT for the Unicoba Group for over 16 years. Because of his hard-work, consistency, knowledge and passion for his career, Claudio has held several leadership positions throughout his profession.
 
Claudio hopes to expand in the nearer future on a more global level. His expertise in structuring and adaptation of IT to business needs, activity planning, specification, definition and implementation of processes and procedures, optimizing routines, reducing cost, and ensuring quality and process agility from all areas of the organization are proven keys to his success.
 
Claudio lives with his wife in São Paulo, Brazil, and speaks fluent English and Portuguese. He enjoys playing soccer and volleyball, as well as running and bicycling in his spare time.
