Sixten Sandström is the founder and CEO of InSix, a boutique consulting company specializing in providing coaching, consulting, recruiting, and financial investment facilitation for regional and global clients. A dynamic business executive, Sixten develops and manages all corporate operational processes including budgeting, strategic development, sales and marketing, and new business development. He has extensive experience developing strategic alliances and partnerships, and a proven ability to increase global product reach and boost profits for client companies operating in a range of industries.
He earned a master’s degree in the Humanities from Åbo Akademi in Finland with additional certification for EU Wide principal positions, 1989. Additionally, Sixten holds dual MBAs, one from Granttown University, WV/USA (2012), and one in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria (2014).
Sixten has excellent project management capabilities and a knack for aligning a company’s products and services with present and future market needs. He has in-depth knowledge of best practices for leading public and private sector transformation initiatives and closing challenging licensing negotiations. Over the course of his career, Sixten has worked with companies across the globe, including Pertec-Consulting, CMR Cavendish Mgmnt Res., Shark Executive Search, Wellkom Ltd, Arcsoft, Monaco Mediax and Kovalo.
Sixten credits his success to excellent leadership skills and motivating employees through times of uncertainty. He works as a Mentor for Suomen Mentorit r.y., where he helps guide and support young university graduates to find their career path. For 4 years he served on the Board of Trustees for the school Kvarnbackens skola, Borgå. Sixten lives in Finland, and is fluent in Swedish, Finnish, and English. He enjoys downhill skiing in his spare time.
