Paul is the Founder and CEO of Financepeoplesolutions where he has partnered up with the German FAZ Media Group. The FAZ is the leading Finance Newspaper in Germany and its subsidiary Frankfurt Business Media publishes the very well-known FINANCE Magazine, “das Magazin für Finanz Chefs” or THE Magazine for CFO’s.

Paul’s focus is on being the recruitment partner to CFOs, predominantly recruiting for their current organizations, but also supporting them if needed in their own career planning and finding their ideal new job. His network of excellent management resources extends across the globe, from Frankfurt Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to Eastern Europe and Russia, South America and the USA.

Paul Taaffe is also the Owner, Founder and CEO of TaaffeandPartners. A team of senior executives and managers who have “grown up” designing and executing demanding change management projects, Taaffe and Partners operate together in diverse industries all over the globe. With over 25 years of industry experience to his credit, Paul’s roots are in finance but he has expanded his expertise to include logistics, purchasing, holistic supply chain, sales and marketing.

Paul himself now specializes in benchmarking CFO Organizations for PE Funds that have just acquired new portfolio companies. Within an analysis period of not more than 4 weeks Paul will summarize the status quo and advise the PE Funds exactly what they need to do to get their Finance Organizations into “best in class and up and running in the right direction very quickly.

He achieved a Leaving Certificate, with Seven Honours from Summerhill College, Ireland in 1977. A Chartered Accountant, Paul is a qualified Accountant form the ACCA Glasgow, Scotland in 1990.

Today, Paul resides in Germany, where he is an avid Eintracht Frankfurt fan. His mother tongue is English and he is close to perfect in German, and has a working proficiency in French, Italian and Spanish.
