Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Tom Power

 
Tom Power is Regional Vice President – Africa for Fosroc International Limited, a position he has held since October 2014. With a career spanning 30 years in the construction industry across multiple diciplines including planning & design, project management, cost & planning, specialist contracting, technical sales, retail & DIY account development, key account & general management.
 
Prior to joining Fosroc International Limited, Tom has had a diverse career with wide ranging experience and technical expertise across the full spectrum of the construction industry, his brief is to build and expand the Fosroc brand across the African continent in the Sub Sahara African region.
 
His Africa experience consists of 7 years in South Africa and most recently almost 3 years in Kenya with responsiblity for new business start-up and business development of construction chemicals and solutions in the East African region.
 
His current role is to strategically develop and grow the construction chemicals industry on the African continent where he has travelled extensively developing new networks and partners and working to meet the Company’s strategic goals.
 
Tom’s technical knowledge and experience as a solution provider across the entire construction industry is paramount in bridging the knowledge gap in the developing regions where old problems require new solutions. His understanding of the product range and supply chain logistics that his company offers is the driver that pushes him to meeting Africa’s many construction needs.
 
Tom holds a Diploma in Architecture from Waterford Institute of Technology, as well as a Diploma in Project Management from the College of Management, Cape Town.
 
Tom strives to achieve perfection and offers service with professionalism, honesty, integrity, and a friendly smile.
 
He currently resides in Dubai, and looks forward to connecting with like-minded business professionals.
