Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Joseph G. Peatman
Joseph G. Peatman is the President of The Peter A. and Vernice H. Gasser Foundation, whose mission is to serve Napans today and in the future with a focus on health care, education, the environment, and the people & community of Napa. A distinguished profession in philanthropic development, Joseph has been serving the community for over 13 years as President of the Foundation.
At Gasser Foundation, Joseph is responsible for strategies to best serve the mission of his organization. Many of his projects include real estate development for the purpose of fulfilling philanthropic causes including housing for drug addicted women and men and the homeless. Under his leadership the Foundation has developed a shopping center, hotel, fitness center and theater, the proceeds of which are used to fund the Foundation’s philanthropic activities.
Joseph graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1952, going on to college at Stanford University in 1956, then earing a JD from Stanford Law School in 1958. Joseph served his country in the United States Army Reserve, Fort Eustis Va. as 2nd Lt., 1958-1959, and as Captain, United States Army Reserve 1959 to 1967.
Joseph is affiliated with Stanford University alumni and a member of the California Bar Association. He is an avid sailor in international waters, and lives in beautiful Napa, California
