Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Youssef Basrawi
Youssef Basrawi is a self-employed Engineering Consultant and Technologist based out of Saudi Arabia. An expert in the oil and energy industry, Youssef specializes in fluid dynamics and fluid flow measurement instrumentation electronics.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Petroleum and Minerals in 1972 from King Fahd University, and then went on to serve the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources as an Instrumentation Engineer. In 1975, he forayed into the pharmaceutical as a Plant Maintenance Engineer in Germany. Returning to Saudi Arabia in 1977, Youssef demonstrated yet another facet of his versatility by joining the aviation industry as an Avionics Engineer, a position which he held until 1980. Youssef then joined Saudi Aramco as an Engineer, Specialist and Consultant, until branching out on his own in 2004.
Youssef enjoys his consultation jobs and often engages in writing and speaking engagements relating to his field. He is a Distinguished Senior Member & Amp, and received the Distinguished Alumni Award of ISA and The Marquis Who’s Who In the World Biography in 2009 -‐ 2015, and the upcoming 2015. He speaks fluent Arabic, English, German, Spanish, Italian, and French. A family man at heart, Youssef is the proud father of 3 and grandfather of 3.
