Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Franck Mouriaux
Franck Mouriaux is the General Manager of Structures for RUAG Space, a leading supplier of products for the institutional and commercial space markets in Europe and the USA. Franck oversees the engineering, production, materials, and processing for international satellite structures and components. With over 15 years of experience in the space industry, Franck has contributed to several successful projects, and was responsible for recovering the profitability of the structures department. He improved the efficiency of both engineering and development, introduced new technologies and has defined a new vision for future space structures.
Having earned a Master’s Degree in Aircraft and Aerospace from IPSA in 1995, Franck joined Thales Alenia Space (former Alcatel Space) as a Mechanical Engineer. Also prior to joining RUAG, he served for 5 years as an Engineer for Contraves Space and for 5 years for Oerlikon Space. An accomplished speaker and the author of numerous publications, Franck’s most recent published work is Topology Optimisation of Tertiary Structures and Mass Savings for Satellite Structures, which was presented at the European Altair Technology Conference (EATC).
Franck is ready to face the next challenges of the changing space industry. Fluent in English, German, and French, he resides today in Zürich, Switzerland. Also a triathlete, Franck can be found training as a runner, swimmer, and cyclist in his spare time.
