Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Franz Pfaffinger, MBA

 
Franz Pfaffinger is the General Manager AS Manufacturing for Armstrong World Industries, a global leader in the design and manufacture of floors and ceiling systems. With over 15 years of experience in management and construction, Franz has been part of the Armstrong team for over 4 years and currently oversees the company’s operations in Austria and UK and just completed to build and start up the first metal plant for Armstrong in China. Possessing an interest in machinery and engineering from an early age, Franz is an expert in product management, operation management, building products, sales and architectural specialties.
 
After completing his diploma studies at the University of Applied Sciences, Rosenheim (Germany), Franz went on to play a key role in many successful projects, including building the very first 2 plants for employer Lindner AG in China, for whom he worked before joining Armstrong. In 2013 he completed an MBA in General Management from SMBS University of Salzburg, to augment his technical knowledge.
 
Franz has gotten to where he is today due to his openness, diligence, ability to be very focused, his extreme care and passion for his work, and the constitution to handle any situation with the proper amount of emotion to keep striving. Not only is he is an extremely hard worker but a pleasure to talk to and do business with. He resides in Rorschach, Switzerland, and enjoys biking and soccer in his spare time.
