Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Livia Villar

 
Livia Villar is the Director of Amanuensis Technical, Scientific and Legal Translation, a firm based in Mexico that specializes in the translation of patents, trademarks, industrial property and technical, scientific, medical and legal documents. With over 19 years of experience at the helm of Amanuensis, Livia is a master of translation and has facility with many languages. She is highly specialized in the translation of patents trademarks, and ensures the certification of necessary documents with a stamp before the Superior Court of Federal and State Law. Founded in 1997, the company was only the second of its kind in Mexico to become certified in the application Tradosa and to employ project managers certified in the application. Livia is an expert in intellectual property, security and IT measures, contracts, manuals and dossiers. She received the Featured Global Expert of the Year award of 2015 for Translation Services.
 
After completing a degree in Professional and Industrial Design Patterns from IPN, Livia went on to complete a Diploma in Legal Translation from the Free Law School. She holds certifications as a Fashion Designer Technician, Legal Translation, completed an ESL Course, SDL Trados Studio Certification, and in the near future will complete ISO 2015. Livia’s translation services have spanned industries in almost every specialty including genetics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medicine, oil and energy, information technology, accounting and finance, and mechanics. Livia prides herself on providing exemplary services and solutions in the translation needs of her customers, and ensuring each document is considered for its unique and key communicative characteristics.
 
A resident of Colonia Escandon, Mexico, Livia speaks fluent Spanish and English. She is a member of AMCEI, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering as the manager for the Asociación Vida Ecológica y Apoyo Comunitario AC., Actually Livia has been appointed by the AEFA (Asociación de Estudiantes de la Facultad de ARquitectura de la UNAM AC) as Subdirector of National Events.
