Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Jean Louis de Bedout

 
Jean Louis de Bedout has been the CEO of Licorela, a medium-sized wine and spirits importer based out of Colombia. With nearly 20 years of experience in multinational domestic consumer products and media companies, Jean Jouis is an expert in business strategy, outside the box problem solving in difficult and changing regulatory environments, marketing, sales and executive management. Possessing keen analytical and leadership skills, he has grown the business to achieve real results and developed key relationships with international and local suppliers.  Key to achieving results has been developing consumer insights, category management, and sound financial management.
 
A United States citizen, Jean Louis earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with concentration in Economics from Florida State University and completed a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University where he specialized in international trade and international business. Beginning his career as a Market Studies Director for beverage distribution giant Diageo, Jean Louis rose through the rank to become a Key Account Manager. He also served as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Círculo de Lectores (Casa Editorial El Tiempo), the distributor in Colombia and Ecuador for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Warner Home Video and Buena Vista Home Entertainment.   In addition to his role at Licorela, Jean Louis is an Adjunct Professor at the Externado University of Colombia where he teaches United States Foreign Economic Policy.
 
Passionate about education and international relations, Jean Louis is a past President and Board Member of the English School, has served as both President and Vice President of the Corporación Academia Colombiana de Gastronomía, and has been on the Board of Directors of Representaciones Continental S.A. and Teletrade S.A. S. Although truly an international citizen, he currently lives in Bogota, Colombia, and speaks English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian.
