Dr. Jamal Hejaz is the Chairman and Founder of Almawaridpharma, a pharmaceutical company based in Amman. With diversified business across Jordan, GCC countries, Iraq and some African countries, in the 12 years since its inception the company has grown into an exclusive agent for respected companies in the MENA region. With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Hejaz is an expert in sales and marketing of Pharmaceutical products, Nutriceutical food supplements and medical devices.
 
After completing his BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Almansoura University/ Egypt , he went on to launch his career with GlaxoSmithKline, becoming their National Sales Manager and medical training manager for the whole GSK field forces  in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , his experience in GSK extended for over than 17 years. Then he returned back home to become the International Sales and Marketing Director for Midpharma in Jordan for almost 3 years, as he completed the MBA in International Business Administration from Richmond University in London in May, 2004. And awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the International Business Administration from Richmond University in London May, 2006.
 
Dr. Hejaz is a member of the Jordan Pharmaceutical Association, Kuwaiti Pharmaceutical Association and the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society. He resides in Jordan, and speaks fluent English and Arabic. Outside of running his business, Dr. Hejaz is active in 3 charities across Jordan, including Anabta Charity in Jordan.
