Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Jaime E. De la Garza

Until December 2015, Jaime De la Garza was the President and CEO of Corporate Properties of the Americas, Mexico’s leading industrial real estate company. Specializing in warehouse, distribution and light manufacturing space solutions, the firm has served over 200 multinational and domestic clients and has developed or acquired over 300 million square feet of industrial space. He held this position for almost 3 years. Prior to becoming President and CEO, Jaime served as the company’s CFO for a decade. He left Corporate Properties recently and he is now in the process of starting a new company.

A magna cum laude graduate in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Technology University of Monterrey, Jaime went on to earn an MBA from INSEAD in France. He has started several businesses over the course of his impressive career, and has worked for Schlumberger, the World Bank and Bechtel. He was awarded “Real Estate CEO of the Year, Mexico 2015” by Business Worldwide magazine, and is a board member of several companies and organizations, including the American Chamber of Commerce.

When he isn’t fielding the strategy, development, acquisitions and shareholder relationships for one of the companies he works for, Jaime often presents at conferences and travels frequently from his home in Monterrey, Mexico. He and his wife donate time and money to several NGO’s including UNICEF, and in his spare time he can be found playing golf, cycling, skiing, or enjoying photography.
