Dr. Robert E. Barnhill, III is the Owner of Robert E Barnhill Attorney, CPA/PFS, CFP, a solo practice. With over 31 years in operation, Robert’s private practice specializes in estate planning, including wills, trusts, probate, tax law, retirement and individual taxes. A nationally recognized expert on the subject, Robert has authored several books on fiduciary taxation and estate planning, and considers it his mission to educate the public on their financial rights and options.
 
In addition to running his practice, Robert also serves as the president of LIVE Speakers, Inc., a training company that provides keynotes and lectures wherever needed. Having been in this role for over a quarter century, Robert’s vast knowledge and speaking abilities bear no small influence. One of only 60 nationally accredited Toastmaster speakers, Robert has held his accreditation since 1992 and was elected President of Toastmasters International in 1997.
 
After completing a bachelor’s degree  from Texas Tech University, Robert went on to earn a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the institution. Today, he is a longstanding member of the adjunct faculty, having taught courses on business, estate planning, retirement planning,  tax preparation and financial planning since 1986. A seasoned and highly sought after professor, he has taught in an impressive 48 of the 50 states.
 
Robert is a CPA Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) through AICPA, a Certified Financial Planner through the CFP Board and a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Texas. He resides in Lubbock, where in his spare time he enjoys the cinema and football.
