Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Billy Keyserling

Billy Keyserling is the Mayor of the City of Beaufort, South Carolina. Elected in 2008, his dedication to government service has been fueled by a lifetime of passion, hard work, and dedication to his community. With 45 years of experience in public service, marketing, public affairs issues management, real estate, and communications, Billy makes sure to take the time to speak at civic meetings, church events, town meetings, athletic groups and anyone who believes and wants to be engaged in his or her Community.
 
After completing a degree at Brandeis University in 1971, Billy went on to earn a Master’s in Public Relations from Boston University in 1974. He worked for 10 years as a Legislative Assistant (for Congress,) and was Administrative Assistant and Committee State in the US House and Senate. During this time he directed congressional campaigns, a senatorial campaign, and a presidential campaign.
 
Billy also served as the Washington Director of the National Conference on Soviet Jewry, a grassroots campaign spanning 35 Countries, to help free Jews and others from the former USSR.
 
Billy also spent 8 years as a Broker for Coldwell Banker, and was the Owner and Manager of the Pink Dolphin Shop. He authored The Pink Dolphin, an interactive book that addresses the importance of teamwork and diversity at all ages. Passionate about history and his community, Billy has also served on various historical and environmental preservation boards.
 
In his spare time, Billy enjoys the beautiful surroundings of Beaufort and is an avid sailor. He hopes to connect with civic-minded professionals from across the globe to share knowledge and exchange ideas.
