Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Charles Yacomeni

Charles Yacomeni is the Founder of Chemical Industry Business Development Professional Group and is the owner of Cyaconsult LLC consulting company. Most recently he was the General Manager at Great Lakes Solutions, a Chemtura company. Spanning some three decades plus of academic, chemical, as well as real world experience, Charlie has gained multi-faceted experience in the specialty chemicals industry. He has successfully driven outstanding financial performance in global businesses, proven capability to build internal and external customer relationships, identified market opportunities and leveraged price and raw material opportunities to build competitive advantage, and profit sustainability.

Charlie attended The University of Edinburgh and earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1972, and then his Doctor of Philosophy in Heterocyclic Organic Chemistry in 1976. His native language is English and he can speak conversational German and survival French. Charlie has used knowledge acquired to move up the ranks within his industry ultimately serving as the General Manager leading a team of business directors while bearing responsibility for the progress of research and development as well as complete oversight of Profit and Loss.

Charlie has done external speaking at conferences and has been published in the Journal of Chemical Society, UK. Charlie prides himself on his core values which are safety, integrity, operating with a sense of urgency, collaboration and perseverance. Moving towards these latter years of employment he looks forward to watching his grandchildren grow up, although he is committed to adding value to a company that is a fit for his experience in the specialty chemicals industry.
