Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Christian Menda
As the Regional Director for Open Text, Iberia Christian Menda draws from his 16 years in top level marketing and sales to drive the company toward massive growth. Christian is the Country Manager for Spain and Portugal. In this role he works as a leader of not just sales, but also pre-sales, services, support and other functions. He aligns these multiple functions around common goals and the execution of a sales-led strategy whilst driving customer retention and satisfaction. Known for “leading from the front,” Christian is not afraid to roll-up his sleeves and get into the fight where he can leverage his excellent negotiating and planning skills.
Christian has a PDD from the IESE Business School of the University of Nevarra and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Central Venezuela. However, he has developed his career as a self starter achieving merit based promotions. With growth of over 200% year over year in previous roles he has an undeniable proven track record. He has held roles such as Director of Business Development for Viaplex Communications, Sales Director for Prosol Ingenieria and Senior Account Manager for EMC Computer Systems where, he attained a revenue target of 4.6 million. Having managed the biggest accounts throughout Spain, he is an expert at forging strategic alliances, negotiating game changing deals and smashing Key Performance Indicators. He is affiliated with the Spanish Canadian Chamber of Commerce and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
Currently residing in Madrid, Spain with his wife, Christian enjoys fitness and golf in his spare time.
