Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Cristine Russell
Cristine Russell is the Managing Director of Global Educational Supplies and Services (GeSS) since November 2014. GeSS develops educational resources ideal for vocational RTOs, higher education institutions and community/life-long learning colleges. GeSS also provides Personal Development Units to the general public and Consultancy services specific to the education industry. As Managing Director, Cristine is responsible for the strategic direction, business development, financial management and operations of the company.
Prior to joining GeSS, Cristine spent 15 years in various roles including Director of Studies, Campus Manager, Campus Director, National Director of Studies and General Manager of Operations and Academia for Study Group. She spent 5 years with UOW College establishing their RTO and growing the college to include various business diplomas, childcare, aged care, community services and most impressively the Diploma of Nursing. The Diploma of Nursing is one of the most challenging qualifications to obtain approval for and the college was the first private RTO to be approved for New South Wales, under her direction.
With 20 years in the education industry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Charles Sturt University, Cristine is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Education at the University of Wollongong. She also holds an Associate Degree in Education from Griffith University. She is driven by the passion to direct the focus of educational institutions on content and resources that will assist new professionals in the corporate world. Cristine would like to network with like-minded professionals and promote the GeSS mission. During her spare hours, Cristine can be found researching ways to combat learning difficulties with children along with following various sports such as football, cricket and tennis.
