Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Denise Charan

Denise Charan’s personal motto is “what is a person, if the person cannot be an inspiration to others.” Not your average bean counter, Denise believes that if you want to know about a company or individual, it all starts at the finances. Currently, she is the Financial Controller with Aon (Fiji) Limited.

She holds a BFAD in Accounting and Tax from the University of Southern Queensland and has almost a decade of experience in her field. Denise started with Nestle Manufacturing (Fiji – Ba Factory) as a cost analyst, she later moved to become a senior Accountant with BDO (Fiji). Currently she’s pursuing studies with CPA Australia to attain full CPA status. Currently, she holds an associate membership with the institute, is a provisional member of the Fiji Institute of Accountant’s (FIA) and an active western committee member.

When not at my desk or attending meetings with countless regulators, she enjoys SCUBA diving (OW Certified), river rafting, skydiving, bungee jumping, lawn bowls, snorkeling and maybe once in a while she cooks up a tasty meal for her family. In the future she looks forward to continuing her professional skills development and gaining exposure to different industries and yes, probably own a few successful powerhouse companies as part of her legacy. In the end, she hopes to let her achievements inspire others.
