Dr. Rosa Gabriela Martinez Gonzalez is a General Surgeon for the IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute), a governmental organization that assists public health, pensions and social security in Mexico operating under the Secretaría de Salud (Secretary of Health). An ambitious and hardworking Surgeon, Dr. Martinez Gonzalez is a certified member of the Mexican General Surgeons Association. She divides her time between general surgery and trauma with working in research and as a lecturer.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from UNAM National Authonomus University of Mexico, which was then followed up by the General Surgery Residency Program (MBBS) at the University of Monterrey finished in 2012. She is known for being a trustworthy individual with solid goals, and is passionate about her work. She also has private practice in IDISA (Instituto para el desarrollo Integral de la Salud) with a multidisciplinary group that provides health services for national or foreign patients.

Dr. Martinez Gonzalez hopes to connect with like-minded professionals and expand her international experiences in the field of medicine. She resides in Mexico City, Mexico, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. In her spare time, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys swimming and football, reading and go to the movies.
