Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Fábio Macêdo Nunes
Full Professor, Researcher, Adviser, Coordinator of Higher Education; Fábio Macêdo Nunes is a well-known luminary in the field of biophysics; biochemistry and biotechnology in Brazil. Fábio is currently a biotechnology Researcher and bio-energy Professor at the Faculty of Technology and Sciences. Fabio is dedicated to acquiring a well-rounded knowledge and understanding of science and has experience in the fields of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology. When he isn’t serving as Chief Editor of Dialogues of Science Magazine or giving lectures, his passion is to work on the development of advanced therapies.
Serious about the pursuit of knowledge, Professor Nunes has a PhD in Science from the University of São Paulo a Master of Chemistry from Federal University of São Carlos and a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry from the State University of Bahia. Over the course of his career he has also been a visiting Professor at Uiversidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB) and Adjunct Professor at Faculade Social da Bahia. His research has appeared in numerous publications. Some recent titles include: A Brazilian Perspective of Biodiesel, (2013); Use of the Statistical Control of Process for the monitoring of the quality of the Biodiesel produced by Alfa power plant, (2013) and Ethnobotanical study in the community of Riacho das Vacas (City of Caetité, Bahia, Brazil) reveals the local population’s knowledge about medicinal plants and their uses, (2012). He has been involved in two significant projects: Prospect of microorganisms super-producer of Hydrogen and Medicinal plants project.
