Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Ian Edwards
Ian Edwards is the Managing Director of IT Integrity T/A CodeBlue, a New Zealand-based organization that provides proactive monitoring and management of IT needs for medium-sized businesses. Established in 2004, today CodeBlue has grown to comprise over 160 employees across 10 branches. With over 30 years of experience in IT, infrastructure, and network communications experience on a national and international level, Ian is a trusted advisor to the firm and oversees strategic planning, consulting, project management and troubleshooting across the company. He is a seasoned leader with extensive technical knowledge that encompasses Technical Designs, Systems Engineering and support, VMWare, Windows, UNIX, Allied Telesyn, Firewalls, Switching, Wireless, Symantec backup, Veeam backup and replications, and VOIP, among others.
Ian stood very much on the fore of computer technology and the advancement of PCs. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from the University of Leicester in 1986, he went on to study towards a Master of Information Technology. Possessing a vast range of industry qualifications, he is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); VMWare Certified Professional for versions 3,4 and 5 (VCP); a Cisco Certified Network Administrator and a Veeam Certified Engineer. He holds an A+ in CompTIA Network+ and Server+, and received an Advanced Technicians Certificate in Telecommunications.
Ian credits his success to his performance, dedication and technical expertise, along with his willingness to understand the needs of his clients and exceed their expectations. A true entrepreneur, he hopes to continue to see CodeBlue grow in the future, and looks forward to sharing information with like-minded technology professionals on an international scale. He lives in Invercargill, New Zealand, and enjoys action and event photography in his spare time.
