He is a Chartered Construction Manager (FCIOB), Chartered Quantity Surveyor (FRICS), Chartered Project Management Surveyor (FRICS), Chartered Building Engineer (FCABE, C Build E), Chartered Environmentalist (C Env.), Chartered Building Professional (FAIB), Professional Quantity Surveyor (AAIQS), Registered Professional Engineers (RPE-Bldg, MHKIE), Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS-QS, FHKIS), Construction Feng Shui Engineer, and qualified Taoist in PR China.

Previously, he has been an assessor for multiple organizations such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS),the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB),the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), Australian Institute of Building (AIB), the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), and Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM). A recognized expert in his field, Dr. Ng has been honorably appointed to panels, boards and associations throughout China as an expert by his peers. He was the Chairman of the Association of Building Engineer (Hong Kong Chapter) from 2007 to 2013.
