Javier de Oñate is the Vice President & Business Unit Manager of Schneeberger AG Lineartechnik, an international modern linear technology company. Dedicated to building machinery that technically and economically is focused on the future, Schneeberger creates linear guideways and profile rail guideways together with measuring systems, racks, slides, positioning systems and mineral casting.
 
After earning a Master of Science in Physics from the Technische Universität Dresden, he went on to complete a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Javier joined Schneeberger as an Engineering Manager in 2003, rising through the ranks to his current position in 2006.
 
Javier lives in Zurich, Switzerland, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and German.
