Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Javier Silva-Wiscovich

 
Javier Silva-Wiscovich is the Corporate Counsel for Silva-Wiscovich and Silva-Janer Law Offices, a law firm whose aim is to define and address clients’ corporate and commercial needs within a time-saving, cost-reducing vision. Following in his father’s footsteps to become a lawyer, Javier’s over 20 years of experience have made an impact in their own right. He specializes in real estate, labor law, contract drafting and negotiations, commercial, financial, corporate and insurance transactions, and is known for his critical thinking, ability to identify emerging business and legal issues, and exemplary work ethic.
 
After earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University with Suma Cum Laude honors, Javier received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Puerto Rico Law School. While attending law school he worked as Law Clerk to San Juan-based law firm, including McConnell Valdes LLC. Upon completion of his studies, he became an associate at the Melendez-Perez, Moran & Santiago Law Firm, specializing in collection of monies, torts, commercial litigation, real estate law and administrative law, and serving distinguished clients such as FirstBank Puerto Rico and BBVA. In 1998 Javier was recruited as General Counsel and Human Resources Director for Bella International Corp., a local distributorship company classified amongst the Top 20 in total revenues in Puerto Rico.
 
Javier is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the United States Bar Association and the National Hispanic Bar Association. No matter how hectic his schedule becomes, Javier will always make time for volunteer work. He is on the board of St. Jude’s Children Hospital – Puerto Rico Office, and currently helms the golf tournament fundraiser.
 
Javier resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. In addition to golf, he enjoys playing volleyball in his spare time.
