John R. Crossan is the Founder and sole member of Crossan Intellectual Property Law, LLC, in Chicago, IL. After more than 25 years of professional experience at specialty practice IP law firms and the IP section of a national financial services firm, John R. Crossan has now established his own firm to better serve his personal, corporate, and non-profit clients, both US and foreign. During these 25+ years John has specialized in IP Law, protecting clients’ innovations and asserting their rights in the trademark, patent, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secrets areas of the law, in registration applications and prosecutions, in licensing, and in litigation. IP Law principles help businesses, institutions, and individuals succeed in the competitive process.
John earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School after completing his undergraduate BS with Honors in Engineering Science at the University of Virginia.
