Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes John Tucker
Currently the Director of Marine Services for Hallin Marine, John Tucker started his career in the marine engineering industry in 2011, bringing with him a wealth of Maritime knowledge accrued in his days with the Royal New Zealand Navy. He oversees the offshore support for the Hallin and a team of 15 people and roughly 200 mariners; he has full operational and technical management responsibilities.
After gaining a BE (Mech) from the University of Auckland in 1980, John continued his career in the Royal New Zealand Navy, where he advanced to the rank of Captain. On completion the role as Logistics Commander (Maritime) he has transferred his skill set from the experience gained to the oil and gas industry. Today, he is responsible for all aspects of operating a fleet of highly optimized specialist offshore support vessels (OSV).
John remains focused on continuing to contribute in seniors roles within the marine industry, and is a member of IMarEST. He lives in Singapore, where he can be found scuba diving, mountain biking, and playing golf in his spare time.
