Jorge Ochoa Mejía has been practicing law as a Senior Attorney with DG&A Abogados for over two years. Jorge’s focus is mainly on the commercial and corporate areas of law. He graduated from Universidad de los Andes with two law degrees in Commercial Law and International Business Law. Jorge quickly joined his current firm, where he has built a successful career as one of Colombia’s top lawyers. He also does a great deal of pro-bono work within his community and has extensive experience in intellectual property, export controls regulations and international anti-bribery laws.
 
His specialties include, but are not limited to: commercial law, corporate law, pro-bono law, community outreach, legal consultation, legal advising, legal writing, corporate strategy, and business law. He is skilled in case analysis, team work, identifying and using relevant information, good memory, investigative ability, and equipped with good persuasion techniques and the capacity to remain objective and civil during court proceedings.
 
Jorge is fluent in English and French, and is a member of the Pro Bono Foundation of Colombia. He resides in Bogota, Colombia, and enjoys travel and reading in his spare time.
