Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Jorge Liguerre

 
Jorge Liguerre is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Technical Learning at Schindler Management, AG, the global leader of elevator, escalator and related services. He is accountable for the technical training component, which covers more than 25,000 field people in over 100 countries. His main responsibilities are the development and teaching of technical training to master trainers at the corporate level, and providing support and teaching technical training at the zone-country level when required. He directs know-how transfer and expertise to field people, and gives accreditation to master trainers and certification to field people. Jorge provides world-class, usable, accessible, up to date technical documentation to the field in a fast, secured and competitive manner in more than 25 languages.
 
Jorge earned his Business degree at IMD Business School in 2010, a management development program tailor-made for Schindler Management AG. He is a highly proficient technical trainer, in the industrial and mechanical engineering fields. He also holds a Business Administration and General Management degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
 
Prior to his current role at Schindler, Jorge thrived in other leadership roles, such as CEO and Managing Director at NV Schindler SA for four years, and CEO Benelux at Schindler Elevator Corporation for four years. He also held titles of Vice Presidente Europeo Servicios El Schindler from 2001 to 2005, totaling 14 years at Schindler. He rose through the ranks with dedication and hard work, and has found great success at the company.
 
Jorge’s position in life is educating others. With over 25 years of experience, he credits his success to the balance of hard work, being a team player and being passionate about this work. He is the Chairman European Elevator Association, and supports Save the Children International, Medicos Sin Fronteras (MSF), and CARITAS.
 
Jorge is fluent in German, French, Portuguese, Dutch and English. He is fond of playing basketball, hiking, tennis and mountain biking.
