Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Krister Rosenqvist-Packalén
Krister Rosenqvist-Packalén, is the President of Cleantek Trade, a company that specializes in the sourcing and trade of clean and carbon neutral commodities and technologies to contribute to the climate change solution. His expertise and passion for using certified Biomass as an alternative energy is rapidly being globally recognized, currently spreading throughout Europe. The goal of Cleantek Trade is to sustain the environment by growing the availability of cleaner renewable fuels that are being sourced in the European Union and the US. These fuels are sold to industries to replace coal, thus ensuring an optimized carbon footprint while making biomass-based renewable energy in Europe more reliable and competitive to these customers. The consistent need of a rapid energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables is vastly affecting the world’s economy, and the introduction of duly certified biomass and 2nd generation biofuels is a key component of the solution to the world pollution and emission sequestration problem.
After earning a Master’s degree in Economics & Political Sciences in Paris and Helsinki, Rosenqvist- Packalén went on to work with leading Finnish forest companies. During this time, he enjoyed rapid success at various companies including at Stora Enso, and Corenso North America, in addition to launching an innovative forest fund. In addition to his current role spearheading Cleantek Trade development, Rosenqvist-Packalén served as Director of former Aylesford Newsprint Limited, a venture located in London and dedicated to recycling paper waste into top quality newsprint. Also a dynamic public speaker, he is frequently requested to speak at schools and universities on his industry.
Also a passionate humanitarian, Krister Rosenqvist-Packalén volunteers to serve food to the homeless at the Protestant American Church of Paris. He is also passionately engaged on political issues that affect the EU, as well Switzerland. He resides in Boulogne, France and enjoys the Swiss mountains and skiing, as well as participating in the international school of Paris and spending time with family, when not engaged with work.
