Mr. Kumar Ramachandra is the Chief Operating Officer at Soon Aik Group of Companies that is involved in the distribution of parts and services for both the Automotive and Machinery industries. He has more than 15 years of hands-on executive experience in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management, a powerful combination of expertise much-sought after in today’s global markets.

Mr. Ramachandra began his career as a Systems Analyst at Delphi Automotive Pte. Ltd. and while he was there he was exposed to his interest in business process and strategies. It was this interest that drove him to have a deeper understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence and Supply Chain where he realized that combining different technologies is paramount to fulfill business growth and sustainability. He became a certified SAP (Materials Management) consultant – before being posted to the United States for Venture Corporation, Ltd. as their Regional IT Manager (US) and then Corporate IT Manager (Logistics). He later served in a similar capacity for Research In Motion, Ltd., before adding global SCM duties to his portfolio.

Mr. Ramachandra holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Though dedicated to management excellence, he is careful to make time for his family and a wide circle of friends.
