Lorie Lam is the eCommerce and IT Director of Ma Belle Jewelry Group, the first retail chain in Hong Kong to offer customers fixed-price, “value-for-money,” diamond jewelry. Established in 1993, the company has grown to comprise more than 60 retail shops across Hong Kong and over 50 stores in Mainland China. With over 18 years guiding Ma Belle Jewelry group, Lorie is a visionary leader with expertise in IT operation management, eCommerce business development, social media & digital marketing, internet and mobile strategy, CRM & O2O strategy, business process reengineering, data analytics, API project management, IT security and infrastructure and vendor management, IT strategy and disaster recovery, and is a key integrator and innovator and project manager for the company.
 
He has significant exposure to diverse industries having worked in Retail, FMCG, Conglomerates, Logistics, Supply Chain and Media industry. Achieved outstanding financially-impact results in various business units. Lorie is a key member to use “Design Thinking” to cultivate Innovation process for Driving “Customers Delights” throughout the corporate from Top to Bottom level. Experienced to perform 6-Sigmas improvement projects in driving business to align goals and revenue generation with the corporate targets, lead with passion and ownership, ensure that all actions create value for customers (internal and external) and the company, and strive for excellence. Active speaker in many public Retail , eCommerce and CIO conference.
 
After completing an associate’s degree (HDip.) in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Studies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Lorie went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. With his passion of continue learning, he got a MBA later. He then earned a Master of Science in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing. Returning to his studies mid-career, Lorie completed postgraduate certificates from Stanford University in Strategic Use of Information Technology and Innovative CIO.
 
Lorie resides in Hong Kong, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). In his spare time he enjoys traveling and reading.
