Luis Ontiveros is the Corporate Finance Director of TV Azteca, Mexico’s industry leading multimedia conglomerate, owned by Grupo Salinas, and the second largest mass media company in Mexico. Luis services all financial areas including strategic planning, business management, financial, retail and technology acquisition operations. He spends the majority of his days addressing the pressing needs for of his seasoned clients manage helping them to create, grow and sustain value.
 
A seasoned, versatile financial and business leader, Luis’ business experience navigates 25 years in corporate finance, with 14 of these as a Finance Director. His background includes diverse financial and business development areas such as treasury, financial planning, M&A, international debt and equity capital markets, and derivatives and controlling throughout Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru and Chile. He combines solid strategic planning and general management skills with outstanding corporate finance qualifications.  His experience encompasses all business functions with a proven ability to deliver consistent improvements to bottom line efficiencies, performance, process improvements and profit contributions.
 
Luis, who speaks both English and Spanish, earned his Master’s degree at IPADE Business School, as well as, Cornell University. He is also a certified CPA, and resides in Mexico City, Mexico.
