Manuel Estrada is a multi-talented resourceful Consultant at PCG, a company he founded and has been running since 2006. Manuel focuses on looking for new business, providing consulting, training, and management. He excels in performance services training for companies in the areas of productivity, quality, and management. He has also taught and utilized specific teaching tools in lean manufacturing, statistical quality control, process optimization, strategic planning and warehouse management. In addition to these responsibilities, his consulting entails establishing key process indicators, purchasing, production planning, and new product process and development.
 
Originally, Manuel was first drawn to the industry during college. He completed his studies in Chemical Engineering at San Carlos University, and his skills in quality and productivity engineering have developed to an expert level since. Manuel prides himself on his innovative and dynamic teaching style, and focuses on giving his clients hands on experience, teaching them how to implement tools to improve their own companies. What sets Manuel apart from other consultants is his continuous improvement of his own skills and trying new approaches in tandem with those of his clients, so ultimately they improve together. The companies and institutions he’s worked with have seen substantial results.
 
Manuel also helps companies to participate in studies to develop a health plan for the region, and he has recently been working with Guatemalan Exporters Association and Guatemalan Managers Association training associates. A motivated public speaker, Manuel participated in numerous conferences. Last year he spoke at a conference involving both the Guatemalan Exporters Association and the Economic Ministry of Guatemala. This year he took part in a Quality Congress with the Economic Ministry of Guatemala.
 
Always looking toward future goals, Manuel would like to continue to grow his company, hire additional consultants for an already ample volume of projects, train them on these tools, and keep them working with him in order to help more companies in need of improvement in production and quality. Both networking and personal branding are an important aspect of his own company’s development, and Manuel is keen to expand his international network to enable future projects outside his own country. An international network will greatly improve his reach to other companies along with his branding.
 
Among the numerous highlights of Manuel’s career include being able to procure certifications from other international universities. In addition to his Engineering career, Manuel holds a Lean Master Certification from University of Houston, was certified as a Trainer of Trainers at Tamagawa University in Tokyo, Japan. He received a Consulting Certificate for small and medium sized businesses from UTN in Costa Rica, and was also trained on Total Productivity Management methodology. Manuel specifically wanted to become a consultant who could give certification process, and has worked with over 20 companies on various topics from services, manufacturing and agricultural sectors.
 
Manuel is dedicated to doing his job with excellence, and refuses to accept mediocre results. He relentlessly pursues a good ROI for companies, improving their processes, and has mastered how to increase productivity. Manuel loves giving back through volunteer work, and he speaks fluent English and Spanish. In his spare time, Manuel enjoys reading and spending time with family sightseeing. He likes sports including baseball and soccer, renting movies, and going to the theater. He currently resides in Guatemala.
