Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Marcelo Tholozan

 
Marcelo Tholozan is the Vice President of Project Planning and Design for Kerzner International, a worldwide Hospitality Developer and Operator firm internationally renowned for creating vacation properties that embrace the culture of each destination. Masterminds behind such celebrated pinnacles of luxury as Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico and Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in Morocco. With over 20 years of professional experience in the discipline of architecture and real state development, Tholozan brings a great variety of expertise to Krezner International. He has worked intensely on various commercial projects ranging from mixed-use projects , master planning cultural facilities, institutional projects, and award winning hospitality structures.
 
After receiving both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay, Marcelo gained a great deal of traction for his design work very quickly, soon providing input on designs being erected around the world. He worked as the Design Director for Impregilo in Saudi Arabia, as well as an Architect for Consorcio Torno Besalco in Chile. He was also a Project Manager for Proger in the United Arab Emirates, and most recently before joining Kerzner in 2013 served as Senior Development Manager for TDIC.
 
Marcelo possesses exemplary skills at maneuvering the difficult and complex problems of challenging projects with multiple stakeholders. He sets the criteria within his office, a method that has resulted in a service-oriented standard of uncommon success within the industry. Marcelo credits his success to his result-driven approach, and a lifelong emphasis on a cooperative and collaborative style on management among multicultural working environments. Some of his projects gained international attention like Qasr Al Sarab and as the design leader of the project He has been published in various industry-related publications.
 
Today, Marcelo resides in Dubai. He speaks English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and appreciates art and music.
